As part of our extensive collaboration with Món Sant Benet, for which we design and carry out a range of activities and workshops throughout the year, last summer Grup Transversal was once again asked to design, produce and implement a special visit that recollects the life of the painter Ramon Casas and his muse, Júlia Peraire.
On this occasion Transversal designed a route visiting the different areas in the monastery and its immediate surroundings using the love story that took place at Sant Benet between the Modernista painter and the woman who would later become his wife. This route immersed visitors in the experiences, confidences and feelings share by this couple over the course of decades, using audiovisuals and set pieces to recreate this story from the early 20th century.
Before the visit, the ‘Magic of Dusk at Món Sant Benet’ activity also offered an al fresco dinner based on a menu inspired by Ignasi Domènech's cuisine.
