Management of the teams responsible for the cultural services of Món Sant Benet

Grup Transversal is linked to the Món Sant Benet project and, since its beginnings, has managed the teams responsible for the cultural services as well as the educational service. The approach taken by this management is one of excellence and flexibility in attending to people, seeking the economic viability of the whole facility by meeting certain targets in terms of visitor numbers via proactive management but not only with regarding to visitor services but also to attract new visitors.

In terms of culture, Transversal is responsible for the following:
- Managing personnel services.
- Reception of visitors.
- Commercialisation service.
- Supervision of permanent exhibitions.
- Educational Service, understood as working on the general activities of Sant Benet (guided tours, workshops, leisure activities, etc.).
- Tourist information service.
In terms of workshops and activities, these are aimed at schoolchildren, families and organised groups.
- The school workshops revolve around four aspects (the monastery, the Alicia Foundation, the environment and the vegetable gardens).
- Every weekend, family workshops are offered so that parents and children can share a
joint experience.
- For the corporate and MICE public, a selection of “After the Meeting” proposals have been designed to complement the time spent by employees at Món Sant Benet.

Grup Transversal is also in charge of managing the shop, a showcase for agrifood products. At this specialist store, the products are treated carefully and with respect in order to offer a selection of high quality local produce.
