Management of the guided tour service for Manresa and the County Museum’s educational service

Commissioned by Manresa City Council, Grup Transversal managed the dramatised visits to various heritage sites of the capital city of the “comarca” or county of El Bages, activities in which, apart from guides, also included one or more actors to recreate characters from the period in question. With the aim of providing a global view of the city of Manresa, Transversal also devised a series of itineraries through the city, highlighting the most important moments in the city’s heritage and history. Both the scripts and the conception of the routes were the work of Grup Transversal.

Transversal also created and developed a set of eminently practical activities for the County Museum’s educational service, enhancing the acquisition of knowledge by working in groups and working on hypotheses. Each of the activities and workshops was designed for a specific educational level, so that all the school years were covered. There were also role plays, recreational activities in which the participants became characters in a game throughout the course of which they would discover aspects of medieval culture, the Baroque period, museums, etc.
