The Sant Isidre Altarpiece: a reencounter with Agustí Pujol

This exhibition took on the challenge of opening a complex topic to a varied public: the discovery of an altarpiece by one of the greatest Catalan baroque sculptures, once its recovery was finalised. Therefore, we had to combine the pieces found and restored, information about them, the era and the author and at the same time make it educational and interesting for the general public.

An impressive brightly-coloured graphic with engravings was chosen – always following the rigour of the content – including some highlighted parts with key information for the visitor who did not want to go beyond that. This was complemented by an audiovisual presentation explaining the restoration process of the pieces, from a very pleasant point of view and applicable to any type of restoration, with the aim of bringing this scientific work closer to the general public.
