Grup Transversal designed and produced three talks for the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) to raise awareness and consolidate the university as a major player in promoting technology in the agrifood sector.
The first was on 17 September 2020 and was related to the legislation and research into the agricultural cultivation of cannabis in Catalonia. It was held at the UPC's Agricultural Park. Grup Transversal was in charge of the technical and creative coordination of the event and also the design and production of its live broadcast.
The second day focused on combating food waste and was held in February 2021. This was accompanied by a documentary entitled "#Nada a perder" (Nothing to lose), in which experts and associations related to the reduction of waste proposed solutions to redress this endemic problem. Grup Transversal was in charge of the live production of the event, as well as the production of the documentary. Finally, a round table discussion was held to analyse it.
The third talk was on sustainable food with the collaboration of Barcelona as a sustainable food capital. It was held in September 2021 and was located in the city's emblematic Boqueria market. Transversal carried out the technical and creative coordination of the whole event.
