The Sallent Tourist Centre or "CAT" in Catalan is conceived as a latest generation venue based on up-to-date museography with audiovisuals taking pride of place.
The main focus is on museographic, iconographic, photographic and kinetic elements and their interaction in order to provide a comprehensible image of the history of Catalonia's industrialisation. An exhibition area of 101 m2, designed as four containers structured using variable graphics, two containers with cabinets for objects and two audiovisual spaces at the start and the end of the route. A "CAT Menuts" area is also planned for children, making the content more fun.
