Audio guides at Tarragona Cathedral

Tarragona Cathedral has launched a new audio guide system based on a website app that visitors can consult on their mobile devices using a QR code. The new system also includes renewed signage in the different areas of the venue. Visitors can watch explanatory videos and consult complementary information in a range of languages to learn more about the history and the most important features of the cathedral site.

Grup Transversal developed the entire route, which highlights points of great devotional, artistic and archaeological value and places particular emphasis on the richness of the rooms in the Diocesan Museum. This new proposal aims to highlight the two thousand years of history of the Cathedral, a witness to various historical periods from Roman times up to the present day.
