Unique educational activities, excellent customer service and the latest strategies to attract visitors and ensure the project is a success

Transversal, in partnership with Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, has successfully carried out all areas of management for a venue that receives more than a million visitors each year and is one of Barcelona's emblematic sites, enhancing the city’s reputation around the world.

Transversal plays a key role at La Pedrera. The following are all the areas of responsibility we manage (with a staff of more than 200 people):
-Product creation
-Marketing and commercialisation
-Bookings
-Visitor services
-Educational service
-Special guided tour service
-Creation of events and venue hire

Grup Transversal developed a new project for the educational services of La Pedrera. All the activities have an active, experiential approach to education, using state-of-the-art technological and museographic resources (multimedia and interactive) to enhance the learning experience. Since the launch of the new educational service, it has been responsible for managing all the activities in the building that require guidance, from definition and creation to operational implementation.
Transversal also coordinates the whole area of attention to the public at La Pedrera. One of the key aspects is the coordination of operations and staff, aimed at achieving the highest level of service, with very high satisfaction results from visitors (ratings of 9.8 out of 10 in aspects related to the service provided by La Pedrera staff).

Finally, Grup Transversal’s commitment to the success of the projects it manages can particularly be seen in the area of tourism marketing, where it has a team in charge of defining and implementing this global strategy that has led to a great improvement in the venue’s results. In addition to the strategy of attracting tourists, there are other commercial lines aimed at more specific visitors, such as the corporate public and MICE (linked to events), schools and educational visitors, and also the local public with specific commercialisation strategies.
