Conversion of the lower floor to create a tourist information point and signage for a historical-cultural route through the town

The implementation of this project was divided into two different actions. On the one hand, the lower floor of the old Sotsvegueria administrative building, which houses the current town council, has been converted into an independent tourist information point. It has been equipped with five information panels and an audiovisual presentation that, together, narrate the history of the town, highlighting the most important events and people.

In addition, a historical-cultural route has been created with 29 points of interest. These points highlight the most important tangible and intangible heritage assets (buildings, history, legends, etc.) of Sant Feliu Sasserra. Grup Transversal has thereby consolidated the town’s commitment to cultural tourism, reinforcing the identity and self-esteem of the people of Sant Feliu Sasserra and offering better services to visitors by creating a tourist information point that helps to preserve and disseminate the town’s heritage.

With regard to signage along the historical-cultural route, a microsite has been created containing all the content of the QR codes on the signs. This microsite has a dual function: it not only contains content that can be easily updated but also serves as a place for potential visitors to find information. Lastly, given that the Sant Roc stone has been carefully conserved at the council building for years, a reproduction has been made, as well as an alcove to contain it.
