National Energy Museum of Ponferrada

The National Energy Museum presented the challenge of designing a leading museum at an international level.

A new museum, both in terms of content and its formal discourse. A museum with a novel focus on the area in question and also novel in terms of the museographic resources it uses. This is the idea for the project and Transversal has designed its proposal within these parameters.

Based on a strategic reflection of the museum model (aiming for singularity and excellence), the content was discussed and afterwards the fundamental lines were determined for the future museography. 

The resulting proposal is a thematically rigorous project that is spectacular without being a spectacle. A project in which emotion and innovation are always supported by solid content.
