Management of the educational services of La Pedrera

Grup Transversal was commissioned by the Catalunya Caixa Foundation to produce a new project for the educational services of La Pedrera in order to renew the services offered to date. The new services came into operation in November 2011.

The educational activities offered at La Pedrera take the shape of global, immersive proposals that provide students with unique experiences while also educating them through interesting but fun activities. The Educational Service for schools is located on the mezzanine floor of La Pedrera and has six teaching rooms to carry out its activities and workshops. All the activities focus on active, first-hand teaching using latest generation technological and museographic resources (multimedia and interactive) at the service of learning, taking students back to fascinating eras and themes and involving them in adventures related to heritage. The activities are organised around five core areas: The Building, Gaudí, Modernisme, Architecture and Nature.

Grup Transversal has a team of people working both on the educational service, organising activities, and also on the area of information and bookings.
