A leading festival for children in the counties of Tarragona
Since 2013, Grup Transversal has been responsible for the whole conception and organisation of the “Children's festival” at MónNatura Delta de l’Ebre, a day packed with activities whose aim is to make children more familiar with the Delta's traditions, culture, gastronomy and countryside.
By organising and running activities and workshops, Transversal helps younger generations learn about the old activities, traditions and typical dishes of the Delta, immersing them in a unique, hands-on experience throughout the day. Some of the activities offered are workshops on the Delta's gastronomic products, shows with animation, traditional games, games of skill and ability and traditional punting.
More than 2,000 people took part in the 2016 Children's Festival, a popular event that aims to become one of the leading children's festivals in the counties of Tarragona province.
