Súria Council commissioned Transversal to draw up a master plan containing several actions to raise awareness of the medieval quarter of the Old Town or Poble Vell. The plan was implemented in different stages and included a large number of actions, such as opening an interpretation centre for the Castle, the exhibition rooms of Cal Balaguer del Porxo and the Medieval Crafts Fair, which takes place mid-November every year.
Regarding its management tasks, during the initial stage Transversal was also responsible for setting up and managing the professional teams for the tourist office located at Cal Balaguer del Porxo, which provided information and other services for visitors, as well as organising and providing guided tours of the Old Town and the Castle's interpretation centre, among other responsibilities.
Grup Transversal was also in charge of all the aspects of the Medieval Crafts Fair, one of the city's most important events and a renowned medieval market in central Catalonia; a comprehensive tourism project that has boosted tourism in this medieval town.
