The huge festival of easy, healthy and fun cooking
As part of our work for the Alícia Foundation, located at Món Sant Benet and whose mission is to improve the quality of everyone's food, Grup Transversal collaborates in the organisation and management of the “Alícia’t Festival” which aims to be a meeting point for families, foodies, fans of local produce and the general public and which was created to raise awareness of good dietary habits by encouraging health, easy and fun cooking.
Created in 2013, each year the “Alícia’t Festival” boasts an extensive programme of activities with close to 200 educational activities and entertainment including workshops, cooking demos, guided tastings and animation.
The Barcelona Provincial Council joined this venture in 2016 in order to increase the presence of groups related to gastronomy, food and agriculture within the counties of Barcelona province.
“Alícia’t” has now become a leading festival and the figures speak for themselves, with the 2016 festival attracting around 5,400 people over the weekend.
